Youth Plus based in Ongar, Essex is different from the Youth Club, because it is run voluntarily by parents, and it's purpose is to help vulnerable young people with disabilities to make friends and to take part in social activities.  Young people, who do not have disabilities, can also enjoy the activities of Youth Plus.

Footwork Community Dance Practitioner
Jean Hunter, a qualified and experienced dance teacher and examiner, from Footwork Dance School, Chelmsford, is available for session hire.  For anything from parties and special occasions, to a regular dance class, please contact her to discuss your event and requirements. Two of her dance groups, Footwork, and Dance 21, (for children with Down Syndrome and their siblings), have recently attended auditions for Britain's Got Talent with Simon Cowell.  Her Gateway Dance Group can be seen regularly in the Chelmsford Mencap news magazine, strutting their stuff, and Jean's newest group, the Mini Pops, are coming along nicely.
