Got a Complaint?

We take any complaints received very seriously and they should be sent to the Secretary. If you feel your complaint is serious enough, then if at least 10 members over the age of 18 years would like to call an Extraordinary General Meeting they may do so by writing to the Secretary stating the reason for the meeting. Why not ask the Secretary for a copy of our Constitution and or Complaints policy if you are unsure how to proceed or alternatively click on the constitution opposite to download for free.

Royal Mencap Mission Statement

To promote the advancement of people with a learning disability and to provide support for their families, friends and carers enabling those with a learning disability to live as full a life as possible and achieve fuller integration within the community.

Increase public awareness of the abilities and needs of people with learning disabilities and the problems and needs of their families and carers.

Provide up to date information by way of newsletters, assist/provide recreation and leisure facilities via the Gateway Club, Gateway Kidz Club, Daybreak Scheme, Adult Adventurers, CMYC and other facilities as required.
