Gateway Kidz Club:
This club was founded in by our Secretary/CEO Sam Barnett and was launched on
the 20th June 2005. Working in partnership with Woodlands School and King Edward Grammar School (KEGS) the Gateway Kidz Club is a term time youth club for children
between the ages of 5-16 years. The children enjoy 'easy' fun packed
themed sessions and outside entertainers visiting regularly with one to one
volunteer help for members as required. An ideal environment for the children
who are able to make new lasting friendships without any pier pressure.
Safe Environment:
In order to provide a safe environment for our members, Chelmsford Mencap
carefully selects all volunteers and insists on volunteer CRB checks (which we
can provide for volunteers free of charge). We are very conscientious with
regards to our members health & safety whilst at the club, and the club is run
by a team of experienced and accredited volunteers.
