Adult Adventurers:
This club was founded by our Secretary/CEO Sam Barnett and was launched by singer/songwriter Nik Kershaw on the 11th December
2007 and is for people over 19 years with Learning Disabilities.
This scheme runs during the Christmas, Easter and Summer school holidays. The
Adventurers
enjoy a variety of fun activities and days out. Over 150 members are on
the books for this popular club.
Location:
Chelmsford College Campuses, Princes Road and Moulsham Street, Chelmsford
Times:
Christmas, Easter Holiday and Summer Holidays between 10.00 - 6.00pm (approx)
Club Costs:
£5.00 per day (non refundable), includes all activities
and outings
£10.00 per day (or less, depending on outing) for Parents/Carers
Conditions:
Adults attending the club must be aged over 19 years, have a Learning Disability
and be members of Chelmsford Mencap
Waiting List:
Due to the shortage of this type of club in the area, places are offered on
